Life Cycles and Butterflies

The Owlets have been learning about different Life Cycles. They have enjoyed reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. In class we have watched real caterpillars build a cocoon and then emerge as beautiful butterflies. Welcome to the Owlets class, Bessie, Jessie, Bill, Bob, Woody, Percy, Nala, Buzz and Sparkles - all named by the children.
The butterflies will be released into the sensory garden where we can observe them in their natural habitat.
