Learning in the Snowy Owls

The Snowy Owls have made a great start to the new year! We have had a busy first full week! We started our new topics (The Shang Dynasty in history and sound in science), completed a physical fitness test with Mr Pugh, explored pitch in music, applied multiplication and division facts, used pastels in art and begun to read a new text about a dragon. In forest school, we created our own woodland creatures using clay and played a very competitive game of Viking Chess! In PSHE, we have discussed new beginnings and have set ourselves some goals for the new year. We finished the week with a fantastic swimming lesson at Ruby Oak Pool.
