Bridestowe Primary School came together to celebrate the Harvest Festival in a joyful and heart-warming service at St Bridget’s Church.
Each class contributed something special. Owlets opened the celebration with a cheerful rendition of “The Farmer Plants His Seed. Tawny Owls impressed with a thoughtful harvest poem and showcased their vibrant artwork. Snowy Owls shared a creative acrostic poem, reflecting the values of the season. Barn Owls sang a lively harvest song that had everyone smiling. To close the service, the whole school united in singing “See the Farmer,” filling the church with warmth and community spirit. As part of the celebration, every child donated food items to support the Okehampton Food Bank, helping local families in need. We are incredibly proud of our pupils for their generosity and enthusiasm. |
